This film was hands down the best seen in 2012, if not the past decade. The directing and acting were refined, nuanced and deeply moving. There were many directorial choices which
served to underline tact and discretion - in the instance of revelation of death, for one, and
the surprising and confounding discovery of love, for another. The editing was impeccable; the plot, driven by human impulses and concerns, never flagged. Acting was at its finest for all cast members such that those standing in an untenable position were humanely presented. Highest congratulations to the director and lead, Patrick Wang, for an extraordinary work. May he continue to flourish and win every prize the industry has to offer in the years to come!
